So, here we are!! It is the first couple days at Providence!! Who would have thought in a million years would I be moving 1157 miles east to attend school?! Certainly not I?!
Yesterday and today was filled with orientation activities to make us new students feel welcome and to introduce us to others, which included BBQs, meetings, games, etc.
It started out yesterday with a long day of orientation, mostly for the parents in the afternoon until 4:00 (suppertime). Which, by the way is quite impressive. The biggest cafeteria I have ever seen and a vast majority of choices (including ice cream cones for dessert). After the dinner was GOODBYE to Mom and Dad and off to Orientation games, including:
Speed Dating -- a game which involves a walk around Otterburne talking to the person next to you, however the guys always have to move places
Elves, Dwarves, and Wizards -- a wide-game version of Rock, Paper, Scissors, except Gamer style
And the games everyone knows:
Shuffle Your Buns
I Have Never
Honey, Do You Love Me
Four On A Couch
Tonight was more Orientation things including more registering, payment opportunities, Meeting Your Major, etc. We just concluded with the Comic Introductions of the RAs, IAs, and STUCO members, Resident meeting and Care Group.
I am a having a rough time adjusting to the transition of Taylor to Providence where the student population is double the size, but in due time, all will change.
Stick around for more to come... if I don't get eaten alive by these horrible mosquitoes

The first entry!!
Hi guys! People keep saying "don't forget to keep in touch" and "don't freeze" :D Well, I figured by creating this blog, it would be the easiest way to keep you all informed of my adventures at Providence and so you know I haven't become a complete man-cicle.
If I can figure out how, I will be posting pics as well. And if I can't, that is what trusty Facebook is for, haha.
Now this is where I need your feedback!! What sorta things are you interested in hearing about? Cuz a blog about classes can get pretty boring!
